Just the Guys

Last weekend was Boys weekend at the Satterwhite house. What happens at boys weekend you might ask? Well, first, mommy went out of town to Tulsa, Oklahoma to visit with some of her college girlfriends. Before she left, she gave daddy a detailed list of when I eat and when I sleep. I'm glad she gave him a list. After she left, daddy and I played a lot. And he fed me. He fed me formula and he fed me cereal and he fed me lots and lots of baby food. And he let me eat without a shirt on. Don't tell mommy. And, for some reason, when daddy feeds me, I get a lot of food all over my face and my clothes. It is a lot of fun.

In the pictures below, I am sitting in the high chair that was the one my Granddad sat in when he was little. My mommy's Granddad and Nanny let us borrow it.

I am such a good eater. I can even feed myself small pieces of food.
When I wasn't eating, I played with my toys. Here I am in my exersaucer. My monkey was hanging out with me.
On Sunday, my mommy came home. I was sooooo happy to see her. Boys weekend was fun, but I like it better when both my mommy and daddy are at home with me.

Dada's Day

Sunday was my first dada's day (for those of you who don't speak "Graham" or haven't heard that my only word is "dada," it was father's day). It was also (obviously) my dada's first father's day. We had a really fun day. Mommy, dada, Grandad, and Doll took me to the Country club for lunch. I sat in a high chair and ate turkey and cheese. Yummy...

Mommy and I gave dada golf lessons. Mommy said dada really needs lessons. Doll gave dada some fun new books to read to me. I gave Granddad a cool alligator card. Granddad went to an alligator farm last week. I can't wait to be old enough to go to an alligator farm.

After lunch, dada took me for a swim in the kiddie pool. I rode around in my brand new boat. It is shaped like a whale and the tail keeps me in the shade. I also made a new friend -- Olivia. She is the little girl in the background. Every time my daddy tried to take a picture, I wouldn't look at him. Instead, I looked at Olivia.
Here I am with my pretty mommy. I am doing my two favorite things -- sitting in my mommy's arms and sucking on two fingers.
More sucking on two fingers . . .

Grandad and dada took a father's day picture with me. I like holding on to Granddad's finger.
The day was so exhausting that I had to take a nap.

Visiting Aunt T

Last weekend, my mommy and daddy took me to visit my Aunt T in Kansas City. We stayed for two nights. On Saturday, my mommy and Aunt T went to get their toes done and I went with them! On Saturday night, my mommy and daddy went to Bryan and Kris' wedding and I stayed with Aunt T.

On Sunday, my mommy and daddy took me to visit the church they used to go to in KC -- Jacob's Well. I got to see Ansie and Ed, two of mommy and daddy's friends from KC.

My Nine Month Pictures, Part Deux

In my last post, I told you about my nine month pictures. Well, we got the link to the pictures from the photographer, and my daddy thinks they are so good that he wants to share them with everyone. If you want to see them, click on this link:

My Nine Month Pictures

I am nine months old. Can you believe it? I don't think my mommy and daddy can. Anyway, last Sunday Ms. Amy Pennington came and took my nine month pictures. She took lots of fun pictures of me. I fell over at the start of the picture session and I wasn't in a very good mood -- so there might not be too many smiles in this set of pictures. Don't I look cute, though?

We took the pictures in the yard and inside our new house. They kept asking me to smile, but I just sucked on my fingers.
I was very tired after a long afternoon (really only about 1 hour) of picture taking. So I rested on the perfect place, my mommy's shoulder.

Fun Run and Mascots

On Saturday morning, my mommy and Doll ran in the one mile fun run that was part of a local hospital's "Medical Mile" run. My daddy and I went to the run and we watched mommy and Doll from the "cheering section." Mommy and Doll ran very fast!

They had some really neat games for kids at the end of the race -- and they sent out several mascots. Me and my daddy had our pictures taken with the Shoney Bear and Louie, the Springfield Cardinals mascot. Daddy took me over to the "bubbles" table where big kids were blowing big bubbles. I had a lot of fun popping the bubbles with my toes and my elbows.

Don't mommy and Doll look like they are having fun??

I was scared of Louie.
