Did Somebody Say There Was a Party?
OK, so it took me two days to post my birthday party pictures. I'm so sorry, but I'm a busy guy. I've been busy getting a new tooth. Just this morning my second tooth butted its way through my gums. And mommy thought I was fussy because I got my vaccinations on Tuesday. Well, she should have a tooth trying to punch its way through her gums....
Anyway, back to my party. It was so cool. I got to the party at right about 4. I rode to the party with Doll and Bird. My MiMi took care of me while my mommy and daddy got things ready for the party. I didn't really understand why it took them so long, but when I got to the party I understood a little better. Those of you who are reading this who know my mommy well know that she can really throw a party.
The party was at the park across from our new house (Phelps Grove Park). It is a really pretty park and it has swings. Swings are my favorite. Anyway, when I got to the party, I saw my Nanny Josephine and Great-Granddad Cash. They held me and talked about how big I was getting. There was a tent at my party and daddy and Papa handled the cooking. They made hamburgers and hotdogs and grilled chicken. My mommy and Aunt T made cupcakes for me and everyone else. My Doll made homemade ice cream. My mommy made lots of other things too.
The biggest surprise at the party was the kiddie pool full of balls. Yes, you read that right. I got to play with 500 plastic balls at my birthday party.
Oh yeah, someone asked me who came to my party. Well, lots of family and friends came. But, if you want to know who came who was little like me -- well there were 4 others: Declan (from Oklahoma City), Sam (my buddy who likes hats), Addy (she's cute) and Tyler (he's a big kid -- he's 3).
And Ms. Amy came too. She took lots of pictures. Maybe, if you are lucky, I'll add the link to those pictures when it comes in.
