My First Baseball Game

I know, I know, I haven't written anything in a while. I have been so busy being a baby. I have been playing with my daddy during daddy time and doing lots and lots of tummy time. For those who have been keeping up, I started rolling over regularly a few days ago and I am sitting up (with a little support) regularly. I love playing in my exersaucer and I love standing up on my daddy's lap.

We had a really busy weekend. We went to my first Springfield Cardinals baseball game on Saturday. It was so much fun. I made it all the way to the sixth inning and then I fell asleep. I wore a cool Cardinals outfit that my daddy bought me at a St. Louis Cardinals game.

Today, I went over to Doll's house. Doll brought me some new clothes from Florida.

Don't grab the doggy's tail

I learned something new yesterday. I learned that when you grab a doggy's tail, it makes the doggy bark really loud and that makes me cry.

Thank You Easter Bunny

Today was my first Easter. It was so much fun. I got all dressed up in my Easter outfit. But because it was so cold, I had to wear a sweater over my outfit and my mommy wrapped me up in a blanket. I went to church at King's Way with mommy and daddy and Granddad and Doll and Bird. I was pretty good at church, but I tried to say the Lord's Prayer louder than everybody else. Since I don't say any real words and only make noises, only God and mommy knew what I was saying.

After church we went and got my Lamb and went to Doll and Granddad's house. There I got my first Easter basket presents -- a couple of cute outfits for spring -- one with my monogram and the other is smocked with a little boy fishing. I also got a chocolate easter bunny and some green jelly beans, but no one let me eat any. They made me eat applesauce and prunes. Oh yeah -- my favorite present is my new rattle Doll and Granddad gave me. It has my name on it and a teething ring. And don't forget my Lamb -- I love when it sings to me.

Egg-citing Saturday

We had so much fun on Saturday. My Papa and MiMi are in town from Baltimore and we dyed Easter eggs with my mommy and daddy and Auntie Jess (mom's friend from Jefferson City). We dyed eggs pink, purple, green, yellow, and "sunset orange." My favorites were green and orange. Some of the eggs were a combination -- my dad did one green and yellow. It wasn't very pretty.

After we dyed eggs, my Papa and MiMi gave me an Easter lamb that plays music. It sings "Jesus loves me." Olivia tried to steal my lamb. I think she just likes my lamb because it is puffy like her and it is about her size. She must want a boyfriend!
