Meeting my GG
This weekend was so much fun. I went all the way to Nashville Arkansas to meet my Great-Grandma Satterwhite, who goes by "GG", and a whole bunch of people from my GG's family. This weekend was the first time I ever met my GG, although she said that she looks at me on the Blog every day. I also met my Aunt Sandy (my daddy's Aunt Sandy). GG and Aunt Sandy took turns holding me. And, oh yeah, my Papa was there too.
On Thursday, my mommy and me drove to Harrison, Arkansas and I stayed with Nanny and Granddad (my great grandma and great grandpa Cash). On Friday, we drove to Little Rock and visited with Aunt Nancy (my Mom's Aunt Nancy). We picked my daddy up at the Little Rock airport and we drove down to Nashville, Arkansas. If you have never been to Nashville, Arkansas, it is the Southern part of the state, down near Texarkana. Nashville is my GG's hometown.
We stayed at the Southern Belle Inn in Nashville. My GG, Aunt Sandy, and Papa were at the hotel to meet us and my GG got a chance to see me for the first time. As usual, I slept really well and I was wide awake the next morning to visit with my Papa.

We met in Nashville to go to the annual Funderburke-Davis family reunion. My GG's family are almost all Funderburkes. My GG's maiden name was Funderburke. The primary event at the reunion was a barbecue lunch at Cowhide Cove (a state park near Murphreesboro, Arkansas). At the lunch, my mommy took a four generation picture of my daddy, Papa, GG, and me. I met lots of cousins -- there were lots and lots of Funderburke cousins at the reunion. Most of them were my GGs cousins. There was cousin Ike, who is an attorney in Lousiana. And the three Bs -- three ladies in pink shirts who call themselves the Bold, the Bashful, and the Beautiful. After eating, they had a fun auction of all kinds of things, including some Funderburke memorabilia. Then we went on an antique shopping excursion with Aunt Sandy. I was the most popular person in every store.
