4th of July fun - a Picnic and Fireworks

On July 4, my daddy, mommy, Doll, and Granddad took me to the pool. After we went swimming, we had a picnic -- I ate all kinds of yummy stuff -- part of a hamburger, a few little pieces of chicken, and some broccoli. I even ate some baby food. The picnic was very funny because we ate on a hill and daddy kept falling backwards off his chair.
We took some 4th of July family pictures before the picnic.
My daddy and I played in the kiddie pool. I splashed the water and splashed Doll. I made her laugh.

Don't you like my hat? It kept me from getting sunburned. It was very hot at the pool.

I took some pictures with Granddad and Doll. I kept trying to grab Granddad's glasses. I don't know why he doesn't want me to play with them.
After the picnic, we went to a party at Granddad and Doll's friends' house. Then I went to sleep in my pack and play. All of a sudden, there were really loud noises outside. I was so scared. Somebody said that the noises were fireworks. But mommy came and held me and I went back to sleep. As long as mommy is holding me, who cares if there are loud noises outside...
