My First Ride in Granddad's Boat

On Monday afternoon, I had a big adventure. Me, my daddy, my mommy, and Doll and Granddad went out on Granddad's boat on Table Rock lake. Doll held me while Granddad drove the boat. It was very windy. But my hat kept the sun out of my eyes and the wind out of my hair. Doll didn't have a hat to keep the wind out of her hair!

My mommy waterskied and I watched her the whole time. My daddy got in the water with Doll and then he put me in the water. It was so much fun. But I really didn't like the lifejacket because it made it hard for me to smile.

Later, Doll let me play with her watch. She's lucky I didn't throw it in the lake (I tried, but I don't throw very far yet. Daddy's working on that.)
