Memorial Day Picnic

Happy Memorial Day everyone. I hope you all had as much fun this weekend as I did. I spent the entire weekend with my mommy and daddy and we didn't have to go anywhere! My mommy and daddy got lots of projects done around the house. My daddy even lowered my crib and now I have a big boy crib.

My mommy dressed me in this cool Memorial day outfit for a few pictures. I am sitting up all by myself now and I only tip over two or thee times a day. I love to take my socks off and then they somehow find their way to my mouth.

My Grandad just got back from a convention in Seattle. He brought me a froggy that says "Seattle 2007." If you look closely, the froggy is wearing braces.

On Monday, my mommy and daddy took me on a picnic to Phelps Grove Park, near the house we are going to move into later this summer. My daddy and mommy took turns swinging me. I love the swings.

My mommy fed me my lunch on a blanket under a tree. My daddy kept taking pictures. Doll nicknamed my daddy the Paparazzi.

My Daddy's Office

Yesterday afternoon, I got to spend an hour with my daddy in his office. I was dressed really cute in my froggy outfit with a little blue hat. My daddy's assistant Linda came to see me and she loved my blue eyes. I also met several other people from his office.

Meeting my GG

This weekend was so much fun. I went all the way to Nashville Arkansas to meet my Great-Grandma Satterwhite, who goes by "GG", and a whole bunch of people from my GG's family. This weekend was the first time I ever met my GG, although she said that she looks at me on the Blog every day. I also met my Aunt Sandy (my daddy's Aunt Sandy). GG and Aunt Sandy took turns holding me. And, oh yeah, my Papa was there too.

On Thursday, my mommy and me drove to Harrison, Arkansas and I stayed with Nanny and Granddad (my great grandma and great grandpa Cash). On Friday, we drove to Little Rock and visited with Aunt Nancy (my Mom's Aunt Nancy). We picked my daddy up at the Little Rock airport and we drove down to Nashville, Arkansas. If you have never been to Nashville, Arkansas, it is the Southern part of the state, down near Texarkana. Nashville is my GG's hometown.

We stayed at the Southern Belle Inn in Nashville. My GG, Aunt Sandy, and Papa were at the hotel to meet us and my GG got a chance to see me for the first time. As usual, I slept really well and I was wide awake the next morning to visit with my Papa.

We met in Nashville to go to the annual Funderburke-Davis family reunion. My GG's family are almost all Funderburkes. My GG's maiden name was Funderburke. The primary event at the reunion was a barbecue lunch at Cowhide Cove (a state park near Murphreesboro, Arkansas). At the lunch, my mommy took a four generation picture of my daddy, Papa, GG, and me. I met lots of cousins -- there were lots and lots of Funderburke cousins at the reunion. Most of them were my GGs cousins. There was cousin Ike, who is an attorney in Lousiana. And the three Bs -- three ladies in pink shirts who call themselves the Bold, the Bashful, and the Beautiful. After eating, they had a fun auction of all kinds of things, including some Funderburke memorabilia. Then we went on an antique shopping excursion with Aunt Sandy. I was the most popular person in every store.

That night, we ate at the Western Sizzlin, and the cousins all did skits and sang songs. I had to go to bed before it was over, but I liked all the singing. I didn't even cry.

It was so much fun meeting my GG. I hope to see her again soon.

Camping on the Buffalo River

This weekend, me, my mommy, my daddy, Doll, Granddad, and Aunt T all went to Arkansas for my first trip to the Buffalo River. Every year, my Granddad Cash's family gets together at the Buffalo River for a canoe float. This year, we went to Tyler Bend and camped at the Tyler Bend campground. My mommy and daddy went floating on Saturday afternoon and I stayed with Nanny and Bird. We had so much fun.

When mommy and daddy came back from floating, my Doll and my daddy took me down to the Buffalo river. Doll let me sit in the water -- it was a lot of fun. That night, I got to see my Great-Granddad Cash and a lot of other Cash family members. My Great Aunt Nancy kept calling me "Grahamer" -- I don't know what she was talking about. But I guess that is better than "Hank" -- the other name she has threatened to call me.

I spent my first night in a tent on Saturday night. I slept on one side of the tent with my Aunt T and my mommy and daddy slept on the other side of the tent. I slept all the way through the night and everyone was amazed.

Addie's birthday party

Hello again. I know, I know, I need to write more often. I'm just so busy. I'm busy rolling around, playing with all my toys, and working on sitting up and standing. I just saw three of my great-grandparents this weekend and I get to meet my great-grandma ("GG") Satterwhite next weekend. I can't wait.

Last weekend, my friend Addison ("Addie") had her first birthday party. It was so much fun. There were three other babies there and they played "ball," they played with dirt and water (I played with a boat in the water), and they played with bubbles. So much fun.
